DOI: 10.1186\/s13148-025-01946-5\">\n<figure class=\"article-img\">\n<\/figure><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Des chercheurs du Centre de recherche sur le cancer de la vessie de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Birmingham ont utilis\u00e9 une nouvelle m\u00e9thode pour d\u00e9tecter les changements chimiques dans l&rsquo;ADN dans l&rsquo;\u00e9chantillon d&rsquo;urine d&rsquo;un individu; changements \u00e9pig\u00e9n\u00e9tiques, appel\u00e9s m\u00e9thylation.<\/p>\n<p>Publi\u00e9 dans <i>\u00c9pig\u00e9n\u00e9tique clinique<\/i>ces changements pourraient \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s pour indiquer la pr\u00e9sence d&rsquo;un cancer de la vessie.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que les tests d&rsquo;urine de diagnostic actuels de pointe, tels que le test de la vessie des formes de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe, soient d\u00e9j\u00e0 tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cis et commencent \u00e0 \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s dans le service national de sant\u00e9 du Royaume-Uni, ils s&rsquo;appuient sur l&rsquo;analyse (s\u00e9quen\u00e7age) de petits segments d&rsquo;ADN.<\/p>\n<p>La nouvelle approche de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe examine les changements de m\u00e9thylation sur toute la longueur de l&rsquo;ADN dans un \u00e9chantillon d&rsquo;urine, la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tude pour cartographier ces mod\u00e8les en utilisant une nouvelle technologie de s\u00e9quen\u00e7age d&rsquo;ADN.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00eame si les \u00e9chantillons d&rsquo;urine des patients contenaient de l&rsquo;ADN \u00e0 la fois des cellules saines et canc\u00e9reuses, l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe a pu discriminer le cancer des patients non cancer, m\u00eame si le niveau d&rsquo;ADN tumoral \u00e9tait faible.
