Credit: Center for the Study of Hepatitis C, The Rockefeller University.\">\n<figure class=\"article-img\">\n<\/figure><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>La contestation de la Cour supr\u00eame en attente du mandat de services pr\u00e9ventives de la loi sur les soins abordables a de graves implications pour l&rsquo;avenir du traitement de l&rsquo;h\u00e9patite C aux \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/p>\n<p>Dans un article r\u00e9cemment publi\u00e9 dans <i>Gastro Hep avanc\u00e9es<\/i>Les chercheurs en m\u00e9decine du Michigan d\u00e9crivent deux contrats \u00e0 terme potentiels: un dans lequel 90% des cas d&rsquo;h\u00e9patite C aux \u00c9tats-Unis sont gu\u00e9ris en cinq ans et un autre dans lequel le statu quo des taux de d\u00e9pistage insuffisants s&rsquo;aggrave en l&rsquo;absence du mandat de la couverture de l&rsquo;ACA.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Si la Cour supr\u00eame \u00e9limine le mandat des services pr\u00e9ventifs, nous risquons d&rsquo;annuler des progr\u00e8s cruciaux dans la d\u00e9tection et le traitement de l&rsquo;h\u00e9patite C\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Jordan Anders-Rumsey, MD, auteur principal de l&rsquo;article.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Sans acc\u00e8s garanti \u00e0 un d\u00e9pistage sans frais, plus d&rsquo;Am\u00e9ricains iront non diagnostiqu\u00e9s et non trait\u00e9s &#8211; en train de faire des r\u00e9sultats pour la sant\u00e9 et de faire augmenter les co\u00fbts \u00e0 long terme. La pr\u00e9servation du mandat n&rsquo;est pas seulement une bonne politique de sant\u00e9; il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;une \u00e9tape rentable vers l&rsquo;\u00e9limination d&rsquo;une maladie curable.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><i>Kennedy c. Braidwood Management, Inc.<\/i> est une affaire de la Cour supr\u00eame en attente contestant l&rsquo;exigence de la loi sur les soins abordables selon laquelle les r\u00e9gimes d&rsquo;assurance maladie couvrent certains services pr\u00e9ventifs.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que l&rsquo;impulsion de l&rsquo;affaire soit une couverture obligatoire pour la pr\u00e9paration des m\u00e9dicaments contre la pr\u00e9vention du VIH, d&rsquo;autres services pr\u00e9ventifs avec une note A ou B du groupe de travail des services pr\u00e9ventifs des \u00c9tats-Unis ne pourraient pas non plus \u00eatre couverts.<\/p>\n<p>Les m\u00e9decins en m\u00e9decine du Michigan ont identifi\u00e9 un simple d\u00e9pistage unique de l&rsquo;h\u00e9patite C qui a re\u00e7u une note B en 2020 en tant que service potentiellement affect\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;h\u00e9patite C est la principale cause de cirrhose et certains cancers du foie.<\/p>\n<p>Au cours de la derni\u00e8re d\u00e9cennie, le traitement de l&rsquo;h\u00e9patite C a \u00e9t\u00e9 transform\u00e9 par des antiviraux \u00e0 action directe, qui peuvent gu\u00e9rir 95% des cas.<\/p>\n<p>Les chercheurs citent une \u00e9tude 2022 qui a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les antiviraux \u00e0 action directe avaient permis \u00e0 Medicaid 15 milliards de dollars de co\u00fbts de soins de sant\u00e9 \u00e9vit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Nous avons un rem\u00e8de s\u00fbr et simple pour l&rsquo;h\u00e9patite C, ce qui est efficace pour environ 97% des patients s&rsquo;ils \u00e9taient diagnostiqu\u00e9s avant la cirrhose avanc\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Anna S.
