Les r\u00e9sultats, publi\u00e9s aujourd&rsquo;hui dans <i>Avanc\u00e9es scientifiques<\/i>pourrait changer la fa\u00e7on dont ces maladies sont trait\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9tude, dirig\u00e9e par Luiz Bertassoni, DDS, Ph.D., directeur fondateur du Knight Cancer Precision Biofabrication Hub et professeur \u00e0 l&rsquo;OHSU Knight Cancer Institute et \u00e0 l&rsquo;OHSU School of Dentistry, montre que les cellules p\u00e9rivasculaires d\u00e9tectent les changements dans les tissus voisins et envoyer des signaux qui perturbent le fonctionnement des vaisseaux sanguins, aggravant ainsi la progression de la maladie.<\/p>\n<p>Il y a pr\u00e8s de dix ans, Bertassoni et son \u00e9quipe ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une m\u00e9thode pour imprimer en 3D des vaisseaux sanguins en laboratoire, une avanc\u00e9e reconnue comme l&rsquo;une des plus grandes d\u00e9couvertes scientifiques de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e par le magazine Discover. Depuis lors, ils se sont concentr\u00e9s sur la conception de vaisseaux sanguins qui imitent mieux ceux du corps humain afin d&rsquo;\u00e9tudier des maladies plus complexes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Historiquement, les cellules endoth\u00e9liales tapissant les vaisseaux sanguins ont \u00e9t\u00e9 consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme les principaux contributeurs aux maladies vasculaires\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Bertassoni. \u00ab\u00a0Nos r\u00e9sultats repr\u00e9sentent un changement de paradigme, montrant comment les cellules p\u00e9rivasculaires agissent plut\u00f4t comme des sentinelles importantes. Elles d\u00e9tectent les changements dans les tissus et coordonnent les r\u00e9ponses vasculaires. En reproduisant des conditions telles que le raidissement et la cicatrisation des tissus, courantes lors du vieillissement, des maladies chroniques et du cancer, les chercheurs ont d\u00e9couvert que les cellules p\u00e9rivasculaires entra\u00eenent des fuites et des distorsions des vaisseaux sanguins, aggravant ainsi l&rsquo;inflammation et la maladie.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Lorsque nous avons retir\u00e9 les cellules p\u00e9rivasculaires, les vaisseaux sanguins n&rsquo;ont pratiquement pas r\u00e9pondu aux changements tissulaires\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Franca.<\/p>\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats mettent en lumi\u00e8re la relation entre la matrice extracellulaire, la fonction des vaisseaux sanguins et la progression de la maladie. Les cellules p\u00e9rivasculaires pourraient devenir des cibles pour des th\u00e9rapies visant \u00e0 restaurer une fonction vasculaire normale et \u00e0 r\u00e9duire la progression de diverses maladies telles que la fibrose, le diab\u00e8te et le cancer.<\/p>\n<p>Il est important de noter que la recherche est \u00e9galement prometteuse en mati\u00e8re de pr\u00e9vention du cancer et d\u2019intervention pr\u00e9coce.
