En 2023, Rosenthal et son \u00e9quipe du JAX et des Rocky Mountain Laboratories du NIH ont r\u00e9solu ce probl\u00e8me en utilisant des souris con\u00e7ues avec des versions humaines de ces r\u00e9cepteurs, mais les infections qui en ont r\u00e9sult\u00e9 \u00e9taient trop graves et n&rsquo;ont pas r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 imiter le spectre des r\u00e9ponses humaines.<\/p>\n<p>En croisant des souris g\u00e9n\u00e9tiquement modifi\u00e9es avec diverses souches, l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de Rosenthal a reproduit une gamme de r\u00e9ponses semblables \u00e0 celles des humains. Mais ces r\u00e9cepteurs humains modifi\u00e9s ne donnent pas toujours un ph\u00e9notype de maladie cliniquement pertinent.
